Weeping Cherry, Prunus sub.  SAle On All Weeping Cherry Varieties!

This ornamental tree has a graceful weeping habit. Leaves stay glossy green throughout the summer and into the fall. The drooping bare branches lend a soothing grace to the landscape in winter. There is nothing quite like weeping Cherry in full bloom, in the spring! The lovely pink blanket of flowers cover the branches before the leaves emerge. This stunning Redbud tree has brilliant burgundy to green, large, heart-shaped, glossy leaves. In spring and fall, the lovely burgundy leaf color is sensational. Merlot has the same beautiful spring blossoms as the original Eastern Redbud, but is a more compact variety. A true specimen ornamental tree.

This hardy, specimen tree is covered with lovely purple buds in mid-spring, that open to fragrant pink blossoms. The burgundy leaves and graceful form are crowned by small red apples that are loved by wildlife.

In the fall, the foliage turns vivid shades of oranges, reds, and yellows.

Japanese Zelkova has a distinctive, broad, vase shape that is attractive and unlike most other trees. It has medium-sized, dark green leaves that turn soft yellow, orange in autumn, depending on the weather. Mature trees develop interesting, flaking bark with patches of gray, tan and reddish brown. It has a high tolerance for wind, pollution, drought and compacted soils.

This handsome, vigorous-growing variety exhibits a very uniform branching habit and features large, maple-like bright-green leaves. Related to the Sycamore tree, it is known for its beautiful smooth peeling bark. When the red-brown bark flakes off, it reveals creamy white, green and yellow colors beneath, providing contrast and interest in any season. Fantastic shade tree or street tree.

'Tamukeyama' is a weeping variety with purple foliage that grows to 8' tall and 7' wide at maturity. We have amazing, fully mature specimens in stock!

'Bloodgood' and 'Emperor 1' are upright varieties that retain their wine-red leaves throughout the summer, turning scarlet in the fall. These varieties grow 15-20' tall.

Serviceberry 'Autumn Billiance' Amelanchier

An ideal, Native specimen tree in small gardens, hedge or screen. This Serviceberry is covered with clusters of white flowers in spring. The leaves emerge with a purple tinge, age to dark green and put on a brilliant red and orange fall foliage show. Loved for wildlife gardens due to the small edible berries that go from red to deep purple.

Semi-Dwarf, pyramidal evergreen with lustrous, gold tipped foliage. This compact arborvitae gets to be only 10-12' tall and makes a terrific screen or hedge as well as a landscape specimen.  Well behaved and needs no pruning, every landscape has a place for 'Yellow Ribbon' Arborvitae.

'Mount Airy' will reach 6' tall. 'Blue Shadow and 'Blue Mist' have blue summer leaves and reach only 2-3' tall.

Thriving in sun or shade, the lustrous, dark green foliage of Privet is not evergreen however but it is an excellent, faster growing, substitute for Boxwood.

There are a large number of Juniper shrubs. All have attractive green or blue-green needles and blue berries they also all are hardy and tough plants that even deer avoid. There are creeping types that grow no more than a few feet tall, but spread like a carpet. Many small to medium-sized junipers make great landscape shrubs in borders. Large Juniper can be used as visual screens or barriers in the landscape. Tall, columnar varieties look like small trees.

Mountain Laurel are beautiful slow growing evergreen shrubs that come in many blossom colors and sizes. Blooming occurs in late spring, starting with bright buds that gradually enlarge until they burst open revealing a rich interior.

They do well in full sun or light shade and if left unpruned could grow to 5’ tall and wide. Mountain Laurel combines well with sun loving rhododendrons and azaleas.

Noted for its ‘fiery’ red young foliage, the Mountain Fire Japanese Andromeda is a broadleaf evergreen shrub that is excellent as a foundation plant or for groupings in the landscape. Their lovely drooping flowers are a welcome feature. Like all Pieris, Mountain Fire is a slow-growing evergreen that performs best in well-drained soil in partially shady conditions. They can be pruned to maintain a neat form.
